Who we are

We are an area of the local Council, formed with the objective to implement the West San Antonio Land council order, approved by them in December 2005.

Due to the nature, richness and fragility of our territory, which, by the way, includes the San Antonio Bay protected area, the council order bears strong environmental concerns, and coast protection being its more fundamental concern.

 

What we do

-We carry out the tasks related to the Land Council order and monitor their “follow-up”.

-We map out and propose additional rules that are necessary for the Land Council order and any other regulation that promotes good urban management.

-We development the council’s programmes and projects related to the Council order.

-We elaborate strategies, programmes and actions that work towards a better, land, urban and environmental management within the Land Council order Frame.

 

How we do it

We have the help of a professional and technical team who work for the Secretary.We also count on the council planning assessment board, a consulting body that participates in all questions environmental or urban.We interact seriously with other State organisms with jurisdictional competition in our territory.

 

Why we do it

Because our territory is our more important heritage and its environmental health our greatest treasure.

 

 

We do it to preserve our heritage and its wealth for future generations.
